This tool helps you manage 1C:Enterprise MXL files. You can change column names, add new columns, or delete existing ones across many files at once. The app provides a live preview so you see changes before you save them.
Follow these steps to set up the software on your Windows computer.
1. Open the application after you finish the download.
2. Select the folder that contains your MXL documents.
3. The software lists all found documents in the main window.
4. Choose the action you want to perform: add, rename, or delete columns.
5. Enter the exact column name you wish to modify.
6. Click preview to view the result. If the changes look correct, finalize the process by clicking the save button.
This application works on any modern version of Windows. You do not need to install extra software. Python runs inside the application package. You need standard user permissions to run the program files.
Renaming columns: If your spreadsheet headers change, use this tool to update hundreds of files in seconds. Simply input the old name and provide the new label.
Deleting columns: If your spreadsheets contain private or outdated data, remove the columns cleanly. This keeps your records organized and secure.
Adding columns: Add new data fields to your documents to match updated company standards or reporting needs.
The program makes a copy of the original file before it commits any changes. This ensures that you can recover your work if you make a mistake during the edit process. Always back up your folders before you perform bulk operations on important documents.
If the program fails to find your files, verify that the folder path contains .mxl file extensions. Ensure these files are not open in another application, such as 1C:Enterprise, while you run the editor. Windows might show a security prompt upon the first launch because the file comes from the internet; select "Run anyway" to open the tool.
